Unforgettable days of combination of business and pleasure in Budapest
With sadness and nostalgia I am writing about ending of series of training courses from the Robert Schuman Institute in Budapest under the title «Effective communications in politics». We - the participants of the course - Elena Kochkina and Yanchenko Halyna got a huge baggage of acquired knowledge and a lot of emotions and memories.
Let me tell about the last visit to the training of negotiations.
We have arrived to familiar Budapest in the morning. On this day we had a lot of free time, so we decided to organize a city tour and visit the famous Budapest spa. Evening was the traditional welcoming dinner during which we met with new members and were happy with the meeting participants prior training.
Classes began the next day, which have continued for the next three days. We were taught by two school coaches from the Vienna rhetoric school - Biatris Shmelz and Alex Austin. Training was very interesting. The theoretical material was fixed by the practical exercises, which we analyzed together after their finishing. We found out principles of successful negotiations, ways of conflict resolution and much other information useful in negotiation practice.
Days passed very quickly. We had only the day of departure, and we decided to arrange a trip to Vienna. Almost all Ukrainian delegation of seven people decided to go. According to the schedule we had 5 hours for the attractions of the Austrian capital, but because the train was late, our free time has been reduced to an hour. We managed to see the most famous place for 2 hours. Only Hundert wasser haus was not seen, that we desided to find it on the proposal of Halya. The Hundertwasserhaus is a fantastic multicolored building, which was built on the project of Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertvasser. We had only forty minutes left before we had to get to the train, so we decided to stop shoping. Planned not for long, but it turned out for long. All the way back we ran full tilt, the panic grew. Only Galinka remained calm and cool. Not really expecting success, we got to the station five minutes after the train was supposed to depart, as usual the train was late!
So, our trip was nice and useful, with lots of adventures. We had an unforgettable time in Budapest!
