 Member of Democratic Alliance Olga Krupenina took part in the International seminar which was held on March, 5 in Donetsk regional library named by Krupskaya and was devoted to the International Women's Day. Volunteers and experts from France, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland and Ukraine participated in the seminar. The participants discussed the issue of women's rights in modern society, compared position of women in Western and Eastern Europe, discussed vital priorities of modern women. The most interesting moment of the meeting was the movie in which men and women of different nationalities answered the questions: what means to be a woman? who is a strong woman? what woman will be in the future?Olga Krupenina reported about position of women in Ukraine and the role of public organizations in overcoming gender inequality on experience of activity of the Democratic Alliance in Donetsk.
This action was valuable for participants and it will continue in the form of gender equality seminars.
