The Donetsk Regional Branch of UYPO “Democratic Alliance” opened the debate club "Search" in Donetsk regional youth library on February 20, 2010.

The project is aimed at creation of area where youth can raise the skills in art of debate, eloquence, team-work, and also to discuss actual social and political topics and find answers to thorny questions.

The motto of the project, which absolutely displays its philosophy, became the statement of V. Suhomlinsky "Without search and finds, and consequently without efforts, keenness and inspiration are impossible".

The members of Democratic Alliance  and socially active youth of Donetsk took part in the first session of the “Search” which was devoted to the matter of gender in daily, social and political life.

Representatives of the organization shared the European experience on the given topic, told about gender problem in Ukraine, taught the methods of statement of purpose and the analysis of success of social and political activity, and also together with club participants defined modern forms of women and men discrimination and direction of their overcoming and have found gender balance.
